Abstract

Dear Friends and Colleagues, Greetings from New Delhi! Welcome to the 20th annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologist being hosted by Apollo Institute of Pediatric Sciences at Eros Hotel, New Delhi. This Is the first time an international association meeting in Pediatric Urology is coming to India. Pediatric Urologists from across Asia-Pacific are meeting here for three days December 14-16, 2018 to discuss and share all the new developments in our field. This meeting will have structured component for the new entrants in the field as well as for the practicing Pediatric Urologist, Pediatric Surgeon, Urologist and Pediatrician. The meeting will start with International children’s continence society (ICCS) certified course on Pediatric Urodynamics, Enuresis and Incontinence. Every Pediatric surgeon, Pediatrician with interest in bladder disorders must attend this workshop. On the same day (December 14, 2018), we will be running wet lab training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery at the World Laparoscopic Hospital. Another session of interest will be case discussions with the grandmasters in audience with over 100 cases with long term follow-up. The latest robotic platform the Da Vinci Xi and laparoscopic simulator will be available at the conference venue for all delegates to have a free hands-on experience. All the guest coming from outside Delhi are requested to book their Hotel accommodation well in advance as December is the peak tourist season and there is escalation of hotel rates. This meeting belongs to all existing and future members of APAPU. Your suggestions and ideas to improve the meeting are most welcome.
