Abstract

The International Organization of Psychophysiology (IOP) and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) are pleased to invite you to attend the 20th World Congress of Psychophysiology (or IOP 2020) that will be held in Chengdu, China from September 1th to September 5th, 2020. After the brilliant and scientifically prolific 2018 edition in Lucca, Italy, the IOP treks thousands of kilometers and arrives in China for the first time. Given its long tradition in neuroscience and psychophysiology, China is well qualified to host and strongly supports IOP objectives, disseminates psychophysiological research worldwide, and promotes international cooperation. Predictably, the memorable 20th meeting in Chengdu will bring together scientists from all over the world to discuss the future of psychophysiology In order to achieve a sustained interaction between basic and applied psychophysiology, IOP 2020 will cover different hot topics and the latest methodological advances in psychophysiology. Chengdu is a historically and culturally renowned capital that dates back more than 2,300 years. This city is the hometown of giant panda with many historical sites, such as Dujiangyan, Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Jinsha Site Museum and so on. The Qingshuihe Campus of UESTC is located in the northwest of Chengdu and, beyond all doubt, will provide a wonderful location for a productive and scientific meeting.
