Abstract

Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesiologists-Mumbai (ACTA-Mumbai) is a vibrant body of all practicing and non-practicingcardiac, vascular and thoracic anaesthesiologists in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and adjoining suburbs. It was formed in March 2011 and there has been no looking back after that. It is one big platform where exchange of ideas take place between senior and young cardiac anaesthesiologists. Regular meetings, CMEs, workshops, examinations, Journal Clubs, have been the cornerstone of the society. The society is continuously striving to create and nurture interest in young and budding anaesthesiologists and is committed to education and research.
