Abstract

The purpose of the WCIM Congress is to promote scientific knowledge and unity in Internal Medicine, to further the education of young internists and to encourage friendship between physicians from all over the world. Internal medicine physicians are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness.
