Abstract

IC-SMHD-2016 will establish an international cooperative relation with Turkey and Turkish Statistical Science researchers, students and modelers. As part of the conference, IC-SMHD-2016 will feature a Festschrift honoring Prof. Dr. Hamparsum (Ham) Bozdogan, Toby McKenzie Professor at the University of Tennessee, for his outstanding contributions not just to the domain of information complexity and model selection enterprise in high-dimensions, but also to his international outreach contributions in disseminating statistical knowledge to the young future scholars from many different countries, including Turkey. The scientific theme and the program of IC-SMHD-2016 will include sessions with invited and contributed talks, and poster presentations from a broad range of topics from all over the world.
