Abstract

Optics and photonics are enabling technologies that are part of our daily lives—from energy efficiency to healthcare. Advancements in these areas will help us to better respond to social and environmental challenges of our future. It’s these advancements that will be highlighted at the SPIE Optics + Photonics conference this August in San Diego, California. There are up to 6 new conference topics this year within the areas of nanotechnology, organic photonics, optical engineering and sustainable energy.
