Abstract

The 13th International Conference Protection of Children in cars reflects strongly the worldwide activities to improve the protection of children in road vehicles. The implementation of new regulations in the markets worldwide and the promotion of Global Transport Regulations (GTRs) are still in the focus of the conference and new developments will be reported and discussed in detail. This conference will again – as in the past years – act as worldwide forum for safety engineers, accident researchers, experts in biomechanics and paediatricians, representatives of rule making, consumer organizations, promoters of safety campaigns and specialists in car / CRS rating procedures.
