The 19th International Conference on Surface Modification of Materials by Ion Beams (SMMIB-19) will be held on 22-27 November 2015 at Chiang Mai, Thailand. The biennial SMMIB is a unique forum for ion beam scientists to gather together for exchanges of their research progresses, knowledge in new developments and experiences in novel experiments. This is the first time that SMMIB is to take place in Thailand in nearly four decades of the event.
