Abstract

This new edition of the a�oeOn-Surface Synthesisa�� international workshop will bring together scientists working on the synthesis and characterization of molecular architectures obtained from chemical reactions of adequate precursors on surfaces. This approach is attracting increasing interest as a powerful tool to synthesize novel covalently bonded supramolecular materials from the bottom-up and bridges across the fields of chemistry, physics and materials science. Travel bursaries and particularly low student fees aim at a strong participation of the younger researcher generations.
