The aim of this focused meeting is to explore the mechanisms of BMP signal transduction and regulation of signalling, and discuss how genetic and epigenetic alterations result in aberrant signalling and how this leads to cancer. The BMP signalling pathway is a key therapeutic target and we will consider how to manipulate the pathway with small molecules or biologics. This conference will bring together researchers from academe and industry, and will be a great opportunity for those working on BMP signalling, cancer, stem cells, structural biology and drug discovery to share data and interact in a vibrant, but informal environment.
