The Gordon Research Seminar on Dynamics at Surfaces is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. Focusing on the same topics as the related Gordon Research Conference, this meeting provides an opportunity for young scientists to present and discuss their ongoing research exploring interfacial dynamics. The research presented will focus on the use of a diverse suite of advanced theoretical and research techniques under UHV to probe the molecular processes underlying complex phenomena in heterogeneous catalysis, solid state physics, etc. Two career scientists in the field will serve as discussion leaders and provide brief introductory remarks to open each session. Each session will be comprised of talks selected from abstracts submitted by young investigators.
