He finished his bachelor's degree in Aerospace engineering from IIT Kharagpur where he started the first student satellite project of the institute. However, the project stopped later due to some funding related issues. Later he joined IUCAA, Pune for doing Ph.D. in Physics. He also worked in LIGO India for a short term. Presently he is working as a postdoctoral fellow in a joint position of University of Wisconsin Madison and Fermi National laboratory.
