The Gordon Research Seminar on Nanoporous Materials and Their Applications is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. Nanoporous materials (zeolites, porous metal oxides, metal-organic frameworks, porous carbon, porous cages and liquids and similar materials) are one of the most dynamic and diversified research fields. This meeting focuses on bringing together young scientists engaged in the synthesis, characterization, computational modeling and the application of these nanoporous materials. In an informal and collaborative environment new and hitherto unpublished insights are shared, advancing the fundamental understanding of this field and taking aim at developing novel materials for the challenges of today’s society. The poster sessions will provide additional opportunities for the presentation and discussion of important contributions to these fields.
