Superconductivity is found in a wide range of materials, from simple elements to complex systems such as heavy fermions, organics, ruthenates, copper oxides and iron pnictides. Each of these represent a distinct class of materials with many open questions. While the variety of properties may at times seem overwhelming, many concepts and phenomena emerge as common themes of unconventional superconductivity. This Gordon Research Seminar will bring together PhD students, post-docs and early career scientists to discuss their recent research on superconductivity and frame it within the broader picture. It is an opportunity to share results, ideas and experiences in a relaxed environment. The Gordon Research Seminar will be followed by the week-long Gordon Research Conference (GRC), which will provide an in-depth view of new developments in the field of superconductivity.
