Abstract

Radiation Disease Days are the most important nationwide negotiating and continuing training event for medical radiation users. The days are organized by the Finnish Radiology Association (SRY) and the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) in cooperation with the Finnish Hospital for Physical Physics and the Finnish Radiotherapy Association. The aim of the Radiation Detection Days is to work on the days of conferences of radiation professionals, which deal with current issues related to the use of radiation and establish a common way to implement them. The program of the days also works as a supplementary training in the use of radiation, completing the continuing training requirement of ST 1.7.
