EAGE/DGG Workshop on Monitoring with Geophysical Methods

8th March 2019   -   8th March 2019
Braunschweig, Germany

This one-day workshop has the primary goal to share knowledge, case studies, techniques and workflows on all aspects of geophysical monitoring. The call for abstracts focuses on contributions related to reservoir processes, geohazards, groundwater or induced seismicity. Monitoring with geophysical methods may help to evaluate and to mitigate potential safety, technical, and economic risks; e.g., stress changes due to excavation, intrusion of seawater into groundwater horizons, and the exploitation of gas, oil or geothermal fields affect measurable properties, which can be monitored. We invite contributions from academics, researchers, and industry experts to highlight advances and the state of the art in the field of upper crustal monitoring.
