Abstract

Currently, 28 different collagen types have been identified. The goal of the 2019 Collagen Gordon Conference is to disseminate information on the characteristics of these collagens and molecules they interact with that support the structure and function of tissues and organs. Also, errors in the collagen genes and proteins that result in dysfunction and disease will be discussed.
