The Gordon Research Seminar on CO2 Assimilation in Plants from Genome to Biome is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. New technologies are constantly arising and have the capacity to drastically change the way we approach plant biology in the future. This Gordon Research Seminar will highlight the application of integrative approaches to the study of CO2 assimilation and how we, as the next generation of plant scientists, will integrate information at the molecular, cellular, and whole organism levels to improve plant productivity in a changing world. In addition to our scientific sessions, we will be hosting a career panel to explore options for graduate students and post-docs both inside and outside academia, as well as opportunities to develop communication skills and improve confidence in networking.
