The AMHPB was established in October 2012 as a non-profit civil association whose mission is to promote awareness of diseases of the liver, pancreas and bile ducts (BPH) and integrate an organization of doctors, surgeons and specialists interested in improving care to patients with HPB diseases through education, formation of support networks, diffusion of specialized care centers, creation and dissemination of treatment guidelines related to the social and economic context of Mexico.
