The symposium on "Mathematical Aspects of Materials Science – Modeling, Analysis and Computations" will be held as a part the 2019 MRS Spring meeting in Phoenix, AZ on April 22-26, 2019. The symposium will provide an opportunity for interaction between the applied mathematicians and material scientists and will feature invited talks given by distinguished scientists working at the interface between the two disciplines. The invited presentations will be complemented by shorter contributed talks. The proceedings of the symposium will be published in MRS Advances - the new digital journal publishing snapshots of work in progress.
