Abstract

We would like to cordially invite you to the esophagus update in Hamburg. A particular concern of our program is to present the latest findings and developments in the field of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and to discuss them with you on the basis of concrete case studies. GERD is one of the most common chronic diseases of the digestive tract and is not only of great health economic importance. Despite established treatment options and guidelines, we are constantly confronted with problems and questions in everyday clinical practice that require individual and patient-centered solutions. EoE is a relatively new chronic esophageal disease, Our program is aimed equally at established and clinically active colleagues in the areas of primary care, gastroenterology and visceral surgery.
