Abstract

This three-day meeting in Southampton is intended to bring together researchers from the mathematics departments of the University of Bielefeld and the University of Southampton and a number of other researchers with similar interests. The general theme of the meeting is Geometric Group Theory, more specifically infinite groups in the presence of nonpositive curvature. During the meeting, we intend to hold ten talks with sufficient breaks to allow time for discussions.
