Abstract

The Gordon Research Seminar on Bioanalytical Sensors is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting-edge ideas. Streamlining analyte detection within clinical and environmental matrices is essential for the practical and widespread use of diagnostic devices. This will require the development of new sensor technologies, which may include miniaturization and integration of existing instrumentation, simplification of user-input and adaptation of powerful data processing pipelines. The focus of this meeting will be on translational applications of these technologies, which is driven by the need for robust diagnostics in the clinic, the home, and the field.
