Abstract

Leading a plant on the state of safety technology is the prerequisite for successful and long-term production. However, despite accurate testing, deviations from normal operation may occur, with design limits being exceeded. For years, the pressure relief of plants has been proven as a countermeasure in such deviations. The course teaches the safety technicians the basics, methods and tools. Using practical examples, the possibilities and limitations of pressure relief are explained. The event is recognized as a continuing education course for Immissionsschutz- und Störfallbeauftragte within the meaning of the 5th BImSchV.
