The Gordon Research Seminar on Batteries is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The performance, lifetime and safety of batteries are directly influenced by fundamental electrode design and indirectly by external conditions. The 2020 Batteries GRS is particularly interested in the role of external environment and controls compared to internal electrode design and interface behavior on cell performance. The GRS will host researchers investigating these parameters experimentally and theoretically across a range of scales.
