Cell death is a fundamental component of development, as well as regular maintenance processes. In addition, cell death modalities are firmly established drivers of disease pathology, and potential therapeutic targets. This meeting will focus on the diverse ways that cell death impacts cell, tissue and organism homeostasis, and how this affects our understanding and treatment of disease.
The second Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Cell Death is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other junior scientists to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The GRS together with its associated Gordon Research Conference (GRC) aims to bring together established scientists, leaders in the Cell Death field, and junior scientists to share exciting discoveries and exchange ideas. All the oral presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts, and the meeting will feature a career mentorship panel discussion, which will include several experts on the field.
