Abstract

Over the last three decades the plant physiology and crop improvement group has provided a forum for researchers from around the world to discuss progress with the development plant breeding and the development of quality traits in leafy crops. Scientific and breeding advances can be exploited more readily through the regular contact between the many research groups working with leafy vegetables and desired quality traits. This symposium will present work on all aspects of of technical quality, Breeding and post harvest in leafy vegetables and herbs with platform and poster presentations from key workers in fields including plant biology, genetics, phenotyping, breeding. This conference will be held on the day following the VeGIN stakeholders day, also at the Holiday Inn.
