Abstract

The aim of the Latin-American Congress of Mathematicians (CLAM) is to foster the development of mathematical research in Latin America and the Caribbean, to make visible the mathematical outcome of the region, and to promote the professional partnerships among the mathematicians of the region and the rest of the world. This congress takes place every four years. At each congress the UMALCA Prizes will be awarded to the most talented young mathematicians working in the region.
