Abstract

DMV Jahrestagung 2020 will be held as an online conference at Technische Universität Chemnitz from September 14th to September 18th 2020. The traditional components of a Jahrestagung such as plenary lectures, a public lecture, lectures within the sections as well as minisymposia will be available as synchronous online events, accessible from a virtual conference venue open for all registered participants, it will also be used for online coffee breaks and non-mathematical communication. We are happy to host the first award of the Minkowski medal during the opening ceremony and the plenary lecture by the first Minkowski laureate Moritz Kerz (U Regensburg); both will be streamed live from Chemnitz.
