Abstract

IndiaTrib-2021 was due to take place from 1-3 December 2021. In anticipation of improvement in the COVID19 situation in the world, the organizing committee started the work. However, as we all know, the trends since January 2021 has not been very encouraging, both globally and nationally. Therefore, the organizing committee has taken the decision to postpone IndiaTrib-2021 to a suitable date in December 2022. Our decision to postpone rather than conduct online conference was due to our strong wish to have the conference in the physical presence mode. The real exchange of ideas and communication among tribologists will happen only when we are together face-to-face. Also, it will be a time for networking and refreshing our global friendship. We do look forward to meeting all of you in December 2022.
