Abstract

The GECOM-CONCOORD is an annual event from the meeting of organometallic chemistry Study Group (GECOM) and Dialogue in coordination chemistry (CONCOORD), and brings together since 1993, themes related to organometallic chemistry and coordination chemistry. After postponing the 2020 edition , then shifting it to 2021 and finally changing its format , due to the lack of visibility on the evolution of the health crisis, we finally decided to offer the event in virtual mode . We are indeed keen to allow our young doctoral students and young researchers to communicate about their work, which could not be done for an entire generation of students in the 2 nd or 3 rd year of thesis because of the pandemic. Thus the GECOMMini, originally scheduled for 1 st July 2021, will take the form of a webinar, open access, and will take place over two half days on 1 st and 2 July 2021. The GECOMwebMini will remain the opportunity for many young researchers to be able to discuss their work since we plan to keep a program with 24 oral communications and the 2 plenary conferences initially planned. To allow as many people as possible to present their results, we are also setting up e-poster sessions ! We are looking forward to welcoming you virtually to Brest, at least whatever happens, the umbrella will not be necessary, and we therefore hope that many of you will register to share your passion for science with us during these two unusual half-days.
