Abstract

World is contain 70 % of waters its contain natural resources of marine and fisheries both renewable and non-renewable. The fisheries industry has economic value and provide jobs for the people. The management or utilization through the fisheries industry is focused on supporting the development of food sovereignty. One of the important fisheries industry is the aquatic product processing industry. The development of this industry to support the achievement of the vision of the governments needs the support of science and technology are applied. Therefore, the results of research and technological innovation from institutions/organizations need to be shared with researchers and also disseminated to the end users. The Directorate General of Fisheries Product Processing and Marketing, MMAF (Indonesia) and Department of Fish Products Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Diponegoro University will hold The 2nd International Symposium on Aquatic Products Processing and Health and Exhibition (ISAPROSH 2) on 13-15 September 2015 at Diponegoro University, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The symposium is expected to be a forum for researchers from universities and research institutions from domestic and overseas, policy makers, practitioners, business owners, students information, knowledge and technological innovation in fishery aquatic processing development.
