Abstract

The Federation of Infection Societies (FIS) will bring together the largest collaboration of infection societies and organisations in the UK this year. Expecting to attract over 1,000 healthcare professionals from both the UK and across Europe, Action on Infection 2015 will offer a fantastic networking opportunity for healthcare professionals and industry leaders involved with Infection to develop and strengthen partnerships. A strong academic programme of events mixed with an interactive, informative and stimulating exhibition will provide the ideal backdrop.The theme for FIS 2015 is “Tackling infection beyond 2015? with sessions to highlight that the post-antimicrobial era may stay a concern rather than become a reality.
