Abstract

Chaired by Liz Bruce Co-Chair Safeguarding Policy Network Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), this one day conference opens with a keynote address from Claire Crawley Senior Policy Manager, Adult Safeguarding Department of Health and will focus on national updates since the Care Act 2014 implementation, moving forward with making safeguarding personal, a legal session which will look at legal developments in safeguarding and decision making in safeguarding. The theme through the conference will be focused on delivering an outcome focused approach and developing your skills in informed decision making to improve adult safeguarding practice
