Abstract

This 3 day introductory workshop will appeal to those interested in completing a systematic review, and those who wish to develop their skills in critically evaluating the evidence. At this workshop participants will learn to identify and clarify their review question, understand and develop search strategies, manage the results of systematic searches, extract data and asses risk of bias, understand and carry out the synthesis of data where appropriate. An interactive format of didactic teaching, small group discussions and practical sessions using the RevMan (ReviewManager) software will be used.
