Abstract

This conference encompasses and welcomes all recent, novel and innovative research on cattle Health, disease and Production.In particular, focus will be on prevention strategies against the development and spread of diseases and pathogens in cattle including those that pose a risk to human health (zoonoses) as well as food safety relevant infections and contaminations introduced and transmitted at critical points along the food chain. Diseases affecting cattle and advanced diagnostic techniques, theriogenology, animal surgery, herd or flock health management as well as modern techniques such as precision livestock farming are other interesting topics of the congress. Animal by-products and waste management and the associated issues of microbiological safety as well as the environmental impact of modern livestock production round up the major conference topics.
