This popular one-day course is for clinicians who specialise in the management of thyroid disorders. It is designed to teach very specific skills, namely how to perform thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration (FNA). The course is an initial step and integral part of the national training scheme for certification in the use of ultrasound in the management of thyroid diseases by non-radiologists. It complies with the curriculum for training and certification for neck ultrasound by non-radiologists, drawn up jointly by the British Thyroid Association and the Royal College of Radiologists.
