Abstract

In the 15 years since PIVAC-1 there has been a great deal of effort in developing clinical cancer vaccination. PIVAC-15 will provide an update on progress in the field in general since 2001, focussing especially on cancer vaccines in the era of immunomodulatory antibodies. Our understanding of anti-cancer immunity and the translation of this to the clinic has made great strides since 2001, but many scientific, regulatory and pecuniary challenges still face us today. These will all be discussed at PIVAC-15.
