In the Australasian region there are two major conferences aimed at bringing together scientists, engineers and developers from universities, research centres, hospitals, industry, government agencies and private companies to educate and disseminate best practice to those with an interest in the field. The Australian Conference on Vibrational Spectroscopy (ACOVS) is a highly focussed conference series, whilst the Asian Spectroscopy Conference (ASC) contains a core of vibrational spectroscopy but a wider perspective in other spectroscopies.
