Abstract

The meeting will highlight recent advances in our understanding of bacteria, focussing on issues of societal interest such as infection, antimicrobial therapies, and the importance of bacteria in the environment. The past decade has seen the use of cutting-edge methodologies, such as imaging, high throughput sequencing, and sophisticated chemistries, leading to quantum leaps in our understanding, that we are seeking to capture in this Symposium. This meeting is free to attend, however registration is essential.
