The conference is broad in scope and provides a forum for specialists in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics from all corners of the globe to present the latest progress and developments in the field and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. The broad scope brings together a wide range of research areas in mathematics and allied fields such as numerical methods, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, computational fluid dynamics, nanotechnology, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, any other engineering applications, etc. This will not only allow the dissemination of the state of the art, but it will serve as a catalyst for discussions on future directions and priorities in these areas. The additional purpose of this conference is to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields. This conference will focus on a presentation and discussion of analytical, numerical and experimental methods used in the study of the fundamental researches and applications in convective heat and mass transfer. In particular, this special issue focuses on the latest advances in numerical and computational modeling of convective transport phenomena through complex geometry passages. Original research articles as well as review articles on CFD methods and their applications are welcomed in this special issue.
