Abstract

The past few years have seen an unprecedented expansion of our understanding of RNA function and metabolism. The identification of novel RNAs by high-throughput sequencing, the possibility to explore RNA regulatory pathways in specific tissues and cell types and the investigation of RNAs regulating stress responses in bacteria have been key to this expansion and have connected RNA regulation to a broad range of phenotypes and diseases. The aim of this meeting is to discuss recent discoveries in RNA biology and to explore their potential impact on human health.
