Abstract

Adult science educators, students, and enthusiasts are invited to participate in this series of three Workshops in Space Exploration (WiSE) that will occur in July at Tufts University in Medford, MA. These activity-rich workshops consist of (1.) Exploring the Solar System -- An Earthling's Guide [July 11, 12, 14, 15], (2.) Exploring the Milky Way -- An Insider's Guide [July 18, 19, 21, 22], and (3.) Exploring the Cosmos -- A Spacetime Traveler's Guide [July 25, 26, 28, 29]. Partipants will receive official certificates of completion. Formal educators will receive professional development points (PDPs) corresponding to 16 hours/workshop. The cost is $300 per workshop, with partial scholarships available to K-12 educators in Massachusetts.
