Abstract

You are cordially invited to attend the First International Symposium on the Geology of the Maghrebides chain and adjacent areas (CIGCM 2016) which will take place 4-6 December 2016 in Setif (Algeria). The Symposium will be held in the Institut d'Architecture et des Sciences de la Terre of Ferhat Abbas University, Setif 1, one of the Algeria's largest universities. The geology of Northern Algeria is part of the regional geology of the Maghrebian orogenic domain, comprising the Maghrebides chain and the Atlas. The purpose of the symposium is to gather national and international experts and PHD students to present and exchange recent research findings on the geology of the Maghrebides chain and adjacent areas (including the Atlasic domain).
