This summer school is designed to introduce graduate students and other young researchers to modern topics in Lie Theory, and allow them to meet and interact with other young researchers as well as more senior researchers. It aims to expose participants to open problems, tools, and techniques used in current research. The school will focus on Geometric, Combinatorial and Categorical Methods in Lie Theory. There will be four main speakers giving three lectures each. The program will consist of two-morning talks by main speakers, followed by afternoon working sessions (AIM-style) on the topics of the morning lectures. The Southeast Lie Theory Workshop X will take place at the University of Georgia immediately following the summer school, on June 10–12, 2018 (Sun-Tue).
