The Gordon Research Seminar on Flow and Transport in Permeable Media is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other early career scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. This meeting focuses on understanding complexity of coupled processes for accurate characterization and prediction in permeable media. The complex coupling between physical, chemical and biological processes across multiple scales – pore to fracture to field scale – will be discussed. Studies that link characterization to prediction will be highlighted. The program also includes a panel discussion with young scientists from different countries to discuss early career academic opportunities across the world.
