Exploring a wide range of in silico, in vitro and in vivo models, this seminar will focus on the molecular mechanisms controlling single cell polarization while also concentrating on how do groups of cells coordinate their internal polarized state to provide polarity axis in tissues. Finally, how disrupted cell polarity is involved in disease initiation and progression will be discussed.
