The Gordon Research Seminar on Plant Molecular Biology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The theme of the 2018 GRS will be phenotypic plasticity and systems approaches that reveal new insights into plant biology. In particular, the meeting will focus on the plant as a dynamic system that responds to stimuli over many different timescales. An emphasis will be placed on innovative experimental and computational approaches that facilitate these studies. Graduate students and post-docs are invited to present and discuss highlights of their latest findings. In addition, there will be a discussion section focused on the transition from graduate and post-doc studies to further careers in science.
