The Gordon Research Seminar on Neurobiology of Brain Disorders is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The meeting will focus on molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer-s disease, Parkinson-s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This meeting will give students, postdocs, and early investigators the opportunity to discuss their research on topics including protein processing and trafficking, formation and spreading of protein aggregates, synaptic function, mitochondrial function, and the interplay between neurons and glia. This seminar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session with leaders in the field to discuss their career paths and experiences.
