In 2018 ASCB (American Society for Cell Biology) will team up with EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization) for the second year to put on their annual meeting on December 8-12 in San Diego, CA. The meeting will focus on cell biology as the fundamental basis of biology while exploring the impact of cell biology on other more specialized fields, such as Neurobiology and Stem Cell Biology. Award lectures given by top researchers, including a keynote by Dr. Sean J. Morrison, and workshops on fluorescent probes and high-throughput imaging approaches, screening approaches in human cells and CRISPR methods, and Cryo-electron tomography and CLEM are some of the highlights.
